When expressing an interest in obtaining additional information about the Services or registering to use the Services, Safedocs requires you to provide the Company with personal contact information, such as name, company name, address, phone number, commission number and email address (“Required Contact Information”). When registering for use, the Services, Safedocs Inc. may require you to provide the Company with billing information, such as billing name and address, credit card number, commission number and expiration dates (“Billing registration Information”). As you navigate the Company’s Web sites, Safedocs may also collect information through the use of commonly-used information-gathering tools, such as cookies and Web beacons (“Web Site Navigational Information”). The Company uses Data About Safedocs Inc’s Customers to perform the services requested. For example, if you fill out a “Contact Me” Web form, the Company will use the information provided to contact you about your interest in the Services. The Company may also use Data About safedocs.com Customers and Data About safedocs.com Attendees for marketing purposes. For example, the Company may use information you provide to contact you to further discuss your interest in the Services and to send you information regarding the Company, its affiliates, and its partners, such as information about promotions or events. Safedocs Inc uses credit card information solely to check the financial qualifications and collect payment from prospective Customers and Notary Users. Safedocs Inc uses Web Site Navigational Information to operate and improve the Company’s Web sites. The Company may also use Web Site Navigational Information alone or in combination with Data About Safedocs Inc’s Customers to provide personalized information about the Company. 5. Public forums, refer a friend, customer testimonials and Social Platforms
Safedocs Inc may provide bulletin boards, blogs, or chat rooms on the Company’s Web sites. Any personal information you choose to submit in such a forum may be read, collected, or used by others who visit these forums, and may be used to send you unsolicited messages. Safedocs Inc is not responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these forums. Customers and Visitors may elect to use the Company’s referral program to inform friends about the Company’s Web sites. When using the referral program, the Company requests the friend’s name and email address. Safedocs Inc will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the Company’s Web sites. Safedocs Inc does not store this information.
6. Sharing of information collected
Documents and registration information and confident to Safedocs. Each user and Notary’s environment is unique and under their exclusive control including and not limited to their documents, signatures, stamps, history and video. From time to time Safedocs Inc may require reviewing transactional information only for the purpose to create billing and respective requested reports from the environment user/controller. These reports are not stored or released to anyone except the environment user/controller. The exception is for the sole purpose of pay pal and or credit card processing on the User’s behalf. Compelled Disclosure Safedocs Inc reserves the right to use or disclose information provided if required by law or if the Company reasonably believes that use or disclosure is necessary to protect the Company’s rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.
7. Communications preferences
Safedocs Inc may provide Notaries contact to document signers needing to notarize a document. Neither user may utilize any information discussed, viewed and disseminated in any way for not transactional use; nor shall either retain any user/notary information for later dissemination to unrelated third parties core to the respective requested transaction.
8. Correcting and updating your information
Customers/users must keep compliance information update at all times. No compliance information may update or change their registration information by editing their user or organization record. To update a user profile, please login to http://www.safedocs.com with your username and password and click “Setup.” To update Billing Information or have your registration information deleted, please email email@example.com or call +1 (844) SAFEDOCS. To discontinue your account and to have information you maintained in the Services returned to you, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call +1 (844) SAFEDOCS. Requests to access, change, or delete your information will be handled within 30 days.
9. Customer Data
Safedocs Inc’s Customers may electronically submit data or information to the Services for hosting and processing purposes (“Customer Data”). Safedocs Inc will not review, share, distribute, or reference any such Customer Data except as provided in the User’s Master Subscription Agreement, or as may be required by law. In accordance with the Safedocs Inc’s Master Subscription Agreement, Safedocs Inc may access Customer Data only for the purpose of providing the Services, preventing or addressing service or technical problems, at a Customer’s request in connection with customer support matters, or as may be required by law.
Safedocs Inc uses robust security measures to protect Customer Data from unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and help ensure the appropriate use of Customer Data. When the Services are accessed using Internet Explorer version 7.0 or later, Firefox version 2.0 or later, or Safari version 3.0 or later, Secure Socket Layer (.SSL.) technology protects Customer Data using both server authentication and data encryption. These technologies help ensure that Customer Data is safe, secure, and only available to the Customer to whom the information belongs and those to whom the Customer has granted access. Safedocs Inc also implements an advanced security method based on dynamic data and encoded session identifications, and the Company hosts its Web sites in a secure server environment that uses firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. Customers are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of their Safedocs usernames and passwords AND account environment access..
11. Safedocs Credit Card Privacy, Refund and Pricing Policies.
Contact, Authentication and Credit Card Policies: Safedocs inc., require Enterprise clients to provide their Signer's contact and general information. This information is used to contact the Signer(s) and provide our national antecedent providers information to compile government compliant questions to establish the Signer(s) identity as required by law and or to establish their identity for other authentication purposes. Information provided by our Enterprise clients include but not limited to: Signer's name, date of birth, address, city, state, zip code, phone number, and email address. Safedocs Policies regarding this as well as the credit card information are: Antecedent questions presented to the Signer(s) directly by the Antecedent providers are only visible on the Signer(s) screens; the Credit Card information (account number - security code) is also only displayed on the Signer(s) screen, and is provided to the credit agency directly; neither is stored by Safedocs. Information displayed on the Signer's screen is the responsibility of the Signer(s) to keep confidential. Refund Policy: There is no refund. Safedocs will diligently work will all parties to attempt to cure any defect in signing and or Notarizing a document based on: notifying Safedocs within one business day of use of service; the document was properly executed within the Safedocs Service; the defect was a direct result of the technology/individuals associated with the Safedocs Service. Examples of non curable defects are: content, text mistakes (spelling, missing, miss placement); wrong documents used or added to document(s); mistakes by any third party; compliance; non acceptance for any reason of a Safedocs Service signed, notarized document by any third party. Signer uses this new and emerging technology at their own risk; cure and damages are limited to the amount charged by Safedocs to use the service. Acceptance of a digitally signed - notarized document by a subsequent third party is the responsibility of the Signer. Pricing Policy: Safedocs Inc., provides a software service to established enterprises in an array of business verticals via qualified Virginia eNotaries. As such pricing will vary base on the nature and complexity of the transaction, number of individuals involved and total number of notarial seals applied during the transaction. Your service provider - our enterprise partner/client sets your fee, please confirm your cost before proceeding. To insure your understanding. Safedocs will attempt to present your fee within a confirmation window during your signing of the documents. You agree that you are responsible for the amount quoted to you by your provider irrespective of the amount displayed during the signing process.
12. Changes to this Privacy Statement
Safedocs Inc reserves the right to change this Privacy Statement. Safedocs.com will provide notification of the material changes to this Privacy Statement through the Company’s Web sites at least thirty (30) business days prior to the change taking effect.
